

Origin:
100% Barbera grapes grown in the big, old Rivetti family vineyard
on Bricco di Neive hill known by the name of “Boschi”
or “Pian ed Valetta”, which enjoys extremely particular
east-south-westerly exposure and sits horizontally at the top
of the hill in calcareous clay soil.
Yield:
60/65 hl/hectare.
Vinification:
Fermentation and maceration at 28/30°C in stainless steel
tanks for 10/12 days.
Maturing:
From 18 to 20 months in small oak casks, some of which are new
while others are used for the second time, followed by 12 months
in the bottle.
Organoleptic Examination.
Serving Temperature: 20/22° C.
Colour: deep garnet red with orangey tips which accentuate with
age.
Perfume: pervasive and complex, sweet spiciness with the fruity
notes characteristic to this grape variety.
Flavour: the visual elegance is confirmed on the palate, enveloping,
smooth and velvety.
Serving Suggestions: suitable for serving with all types of meat
and an excellent companion for the cheese board.
